This past weekend we were on the idiot box quite a bit. Started off friday at the miss teen USA pageant (miss new jersey was robbed) then saturday at the diseny channel games where we played with both jonas bros and miley cyrus. topped it off with a sunday brunch performing "hold on" and "SOS" at Arthur Ashe Kids Day for the US Open. now i'm finally home for the first time in over 2 months. oh and i added another video of a new band i'm playing with (last video)

You can have your cake and drop it too!

Last night we not only celebrated Joe's 18th birthday, but Mr. and Mrs. Jonas' 22nd anniversery. Their sons suprised them onstage with a cake. Then things went terribly awry:

yesterday we found out, literally minutes before we stepped onto the stage, that the new album will be debuting at no. 5 on the billboard charts. who knew? it's all very bizzare.

no way! 2 blogs in one day! i must be serious about updating this thing. i literally just walked off stage from playing the indianapolis state fair. there were 8,000 people there! thats a lot considering this time last year we were averaging about 80 kids showing up at our mall shows when we were promoting "its about time."

Il-Lego alien

By now i'm sure everyone has heard about Ego Leonard - the 8 foot tall lego man who magically washed up onto a Dutch beach a few days ago. Whoever is behind this is a certified genius because they still have an entire tour bus full of people (meaning us) trying to figure this out.

A woman nearby is quoted as saying: “I saw the Lego toy floating towards the beach from the direction of England.”

this, of course, is a ridiculous statement. The giant lego man obviously floated from Legoland.

i first heard this miracle of a news story at 5am while on the set of the CW11 morning news during that sleep deprived / wide-awake state of mind (when i like to replace the vowel in my name and be referred to as "Grog.") I was on the set in new york city to perform; before promptly going back to sleep, only to dream up nightmares of Ego Leonard... enjoy

it's not much of a tour blog if you don't write while you're actually on tour. i could lie to you and tell you i was busy catching 5am flights and playing shows in a new state everyday but the truth is i was abducted by aliens and although i managed to bring my computer with me, the alien's wifi connection was so slow it would make a 3-toed sloth cry. anyway truth be told, the aliens dropped me off back here in new york city for the big release of the jonas' second album. tonight is our third and final sold out show at the gramercy theather. my boy rob has been taking some sweet pics. check them out at: flickr.com/photos/jonasbrothers
